Why the choice of SIPA for bottling plants
GEPP has chosen to renew its trust in SIPA thanks to the efficiency and quality of the solutions provided in PET bottling and in preforms production. The collaboration began in the early 2000s, when the Mexican company requested blow molding machines and filling lines for Geusa's plants.
In the following years, SIPA installed an SFR 16 blow molding machine and a 144-valve filling line at the Celaya plant in Guanajuato, dedicated to the production of 3-liter Pepsi. Without a doubt, this filler has been recognized as one of the most efficient in its category.
How the strategic relationship with SIPA has grown
In 2022, the GEPP Group decided to increase collaboration ties with SIPA as a strategic technological partner for a plant technological renewal program. The Italian company was awarded with four XTRA blow molding machines and a Gatorade.
Based on the good service, speed of installation, start-up and scope of operational efficiencies, GEPP decided to acquire from SIPA another 2 XTRA blowmolders, a complete line for water of 57,000 bph, two lines for soft drinks of 48,000 bph and 14 palletizers.
With the plastics producing subsidiary PROPLASA, it was decided to implement the preform lightening program, as SIPA was the winner of the tender for lightened neck functionality with the proposal for a PCO 1881 LW (LightWeight).
The added value offered by SIPA
The choice of SIPA as GEPP's strategic supplier was confirmed due to its ability to provide adequate technical support in Mexico, structuring a greater number of qualified technicians and a well-organized spare parts warehouse, which guarantees fast and accurate response times.
GEPP also particularly appreciated SIPA's digital and personalized customer service, which finds its strength in Echo Digital Platform. It is an innovative digital ecosystem capable of transforming the traditional concept of B2B service through interactive multi-channel solutions that are always just a click away.
GEPP's future challenges
GEPP has various commitments, among which are: contributing to the vitality of Mexicans and their families. The group scrupulously complies with the laws and regulations applicable to the sector.
At the same time, GEPP aims to generate maximum return potential for its partners, actively participating within the communities in which it operates, as well as contributing to the prosperity of Mexico. The partnership with SIPA represents the prerequisite for a progressive increase in efficiency and the implementation of innovative projects to improve production capacities.
